FROM RUNNING TO BODYWORK:
An inward journey of awareness

From a young age, I have been fascinated by sports and exercise. Unfortunately, after years of intensive training, I started experiencing chronic pain. Medical professionals were unable to provide a clear diagnosis, and treatments had little effect. It was a frustrating experience that forced me to change the way I treated my body. I decided to take full responsibility for my health and body and to turn inward.

In silence and surrender, I began to listen to my body. I could no longer ignore it and had no choice but to acknowledge that pain (physical, emotional, and mental) had been a constant companion for years. From illnesses to abuse, from sports injuries to chronic conditions, my body felt like a battlefield. I realized that I often felt anxious, misunderstood, alone, sad, depressed, angry, and frustrated. My search for relief led me to the world of Buddha, meditation, and touch. I immersed myself in various techniques, from classic sports massage to energetic healing. But it wasn’t until I was introduced to Myofascial Energetic Release (by Michel Bik www.levendelijve.nl) that I really felt a breakthrough. It was as if a veil had been lifted. The treatment not only helped reduce my physical pain, but also cleared old emotional blockages. It was a long and often painful journey, but gradually I experienced more and more freedom and relaxation in my body, both in my mind and in my head.

Through my own experiences, I understand better than anyone how important it is to treat and live in harmony with the body. I am convinced that everyone is capable of healing and living a pain-free life. That is why I am committed to sharing this knowledge and supporting others on their path to recovery.

Now, as a bodyworker, I combine my passion for movement with my knowledge of healing. Through my own journey, I have become aware of the deep connection between body and mind. I help my clients reconnect with their bodies, break old patterns, and activate their self-healing abilities.
